content search in the attachments

Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible to do content search in the attachments in knowledgeroot. If not can we improve the search functionality by any means.

Hi,

sorry for late answer.

At the moment it is not possible to search in the attachments. This could be added in the future as extension. But the problem is that the files could be in binary format. Perhaps you need to extract the content out of a pdf,doc,openoffice document or whatever. Thats the only problem.
