Rights in KnowledgeRoot

Hello,
I have many difficulties with the rights management.
Basically, i would like to have a group "EDIT" with users who can R+W (not admin) on part or all the tree AND a group "VIEW" with users who can only Read this same subtree.
I don't know how to do it, since i can only give rights for owner user, group owner and others per file.
I guess, a few examples of different possibilities would be welcome.
Hope it is not to much work.

In the windows that appears to move a page, i see extra text : "close(); ?>".

Although, i've read the pages in www.knowledgeroot.de and how rights on files are managed in linux, i can't figure out how to manage the rights on articles.

By the way, about the encoding, i can use ISO-8859-1 and it is fine for me.

I think it is not possible to set the rights in knowledgeroot like you want. Hrm. I will take a look how to include that for the future. But what you can do is following:
create 3 groups. One group for all users and one for rw and one group for read only. Now you must give read rights for all users to the element you want. And now you can give all users in rw-group the right to edit this and set other only to read. So you can do that i think.

Sorry, but we dont have the close() in the moving popup. Which version of knowledgeroot,apache,php,mysql are you using?

Yes, i will do that.
The 'move page' feature under WAMP produces this problem. But under LAMP, it is OK. So this is OK for me

I have tested the version 5 and it works for me.

It is WAMP5 1.6.4.
But i think that i found the problem :
in the "move.php" file, at the end...

it is :
<?
   $CLASS['db']->close();

?>
it should be (i guess) :
<?php
   $CLASS['db']->close();

?>
