Hi,

you could be download the extension with an svn client from:
https://knowledgeroot.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/knowledgeroot/trunk/extensions/rss_feed/

Any Feedback is welcome to improve the extension :)

Hi again.

I have downloaded, installed and enabled the extension. But how do I use it, within Knowledgeroot? Is it possible to add different content-elements as rss-items to the rss-channel?

Any hints?

Hi,

the extension does not include rss feeds. It creates a rss feed from the contents in knowledgeroot.

Sorry, but I don't get it.
How is the feed created, and how can it be addressed?

In the file 'info.php' of the extension I can see it says 'dependencies => libzendframework. Does this mean, I have to install the Zend Framework on my server?

If I write a simple xml-file, call it feed-xml, put it into the root of my knowledgeroot installation and give i the following content:

abmWiki

abmWiki

it wiki for Arbejdermuseet og ABA

Log for hjemmesiden

Se log over seneste aendringer paa hjemmesiden

I can access the 3 feeds both in FF and IE.

The extension itsself does not give me a valid feed.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

sorry for late answer.

To subscribe to the rss feed you use the following url:
http://your-domain/index.php?rss_feed[action]=show

You should also see a rss feed icon in your browser!

The extension needs the zendframework which is also available as extension:
https://knowledgeroot.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/knowledgeroot/trunk/extensions/libzendframework/

In the next big release, version 1.0 - the zendframework is buildin to knowledgeroot.
